Comcast has spent over £250m on Bedford theme park
Taxpayers are committing £1.3bn towards a new station and road, with opening due in 2031

The Government has committed £1.3bn of taxpayers' money to help US giant Comcast open a Universal theme park in Bedford.
Comcast, which owns Sky, has spent more than £250m on the former brickworks site so far, latest accounts show. It's committed £6bn overall, and the resort is due to open in 2031.
Public money is paying for a new railway station and a widened A421. Ministers fast-tracked planning permission too.
