A Canadian tourist who carried a flamingo called Peachy up to his Las Vegas hotel room has been found guilty of animal cruelty.
Mitchell Fairbarn told the court he'd drunk 30 to 40 beers and thought it would be "funny". CCTV showed him smiling in the lift, holding the bird by the neck. Experts said Peachy had feathers torn out and lost blood.
He could get nearly five years when he's sentenced in December. Should being that drunk count for anything in court?
