Apple's first folding iPhone has been reviewed, and Engadget reckons the $1,999 iPhone Duo was worth the wait.

It opens from a 5.4-inch outer screen to a 7.6-inch inner one. According to the review, a matte finish on the inside display means the crease basically disappears when you look at it head on. Touch ID is back too, built into the side button instead of Face ID.

The catch? It weighs 254 grams, and plenty of apps still need tweaking.

Would you pay $1,999 for a folding iPhone?
